In an ancient days people always think how to be in power. They always needed power. Not even man a single animal too needs power. That's why the survival of fittest suits here. So the stronger one used to win and rule.
The time has changed now. Every one needs power but each and every one cannot overcome the power. Person who uses mind, money and muscle can come to the power. He can do anything what he deserves. He wants to accumulate the resources, gather people, engages them. Here a country or state is regarded as him/he.
In this present days situations Money, Mind and Muscle are not much enough to rule. A country needs so many things to do so. If above three things are considered as umbrella then here comes Economy, Political, Social, Health, Labor, Market, Diplomacy, Military, Technology, Populations, Demography etc come under these. The definition only changed but the basic theory is not changed.
Lets see how America is super power? It has maintained almost all the things which comes under the 3 M's . Economy, Market , Diplomacy, Technology and of course Military are in full gear. But why China is not the super power? It is projected that in recent future it will be one of the super power. China has it internal problems. It has lots of resources, rising Technology , boosting Economy and mammoth Population too. It is in increasing way. If it continues then in recent future the Super Power may shift to China.
Another example why North Korea is not the super power since it is loaded with Nuclear Power? Yes, North Korea can be Super Power but it cannot afford for the long run. Since these programs depend on Economy and Technology and also the country's resources. It has many problems inside it and bounded by many sanctions.
Hence it is concluded that to be a powerful nation the three Ms play a vital role.
