"Ireland is dark horse in ICC World Cup 2015"

"Nepal is dark horse among associate  nation"

 

Above lines show that dark horse means ability to defeat the strong team with surprisingly . Some sort of different result is expected in the exercise and then we can use the word like "Dark Horse". As we know that dark horse team seems strong enough in ccomparison to other horses.

In a daily life when a person  does his deed in a different way also seems to be a dark horse but there should be competition between different parties, then one of the competent may be dark horse.

 

Pubudu Dassnayake

A Sri Lankan cricketer who played 11 tests and 16 ODIs had been a coach of Nepal and his effort made the team to enter T20 world cup. He was former coach of Canada. He is well chosen wicket keeper and had a right handed batting style.
He debuted Test matches on August 25, 1993 against South Africa and last played with Zimbawe on October 20, 1994. Where as he debuted on September 02, 1993 against South Africa for ODI and last played with New Zealand on December 08, 1994.
He is awarded to the boom boom performance of the Nepalese team . Nepalese team has been running with its gold era and this coach has maintained it. He is the biggest of all other coach. Nepal entered to T20 world cup under this coach.
