The Champions League Final

1. This is the fifth European Cup/UEFA Champions League Final held in Madrid, after the 1957, 1969, 1980, and 2010 finals, all held at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium
2. Liverpool, in their ninth final overall and their second in a row, having been defeated by Real Madrid in 2018.
3. Tottenham Hotspur reached their first ever Champions League final, becoming the eighth unique finalist from England and the fortieth overal
4. The final will take place on Saturday, June 1 at 8pm BST.
5. The final will be played at Atletico Madrid's 63,500 capacity Wanda Metropolitano.
6. Liverpool produced one of the greatest comebacks in Champions League history to beat Barcelona 4-0, overturning a three-goal first-leg deficit and advancing to their second successive final with a 4-3 aggregate victory.
7. 24 hours after Liverpool's miracle comeback to beat Barcelona 4-3 on aggregate, Tottenham produced their own heroics to reach their first European Cup final.  It also overturned one goal first leg deficit and advanced to final with agg 3-3( Spurs through on away goals)

Tottenham: Since the 1921 FA Cup final the Tottenham Hotspur crest has featured a cockerel. Harry Hotspur, after whom the club is named
