Dysentery

Normally there are two types of dysentery.
  • Bascillary dysentery
  • Amoebic dysentery
Ok then, what is dysentery?
 
 It is a disease marked by frequent watery stools, often with blood and mucus and characterized clinically by pain, tenemus, fever and dehydration.
 
Symptoms:
  • Abdominal pain
  • fatigue
  • intermittent constipation
  • nausea and vomiting
  • fever and chills
Causes: Poor hygine and sanitation
 
Treatement
  • Rhydration therapy
  • antibiotics and amoebicidal drugs
Prevention
  • Good hygine
  • Washing hand , especially before and after going to the toilet and preparing food
  • Use boiled water
  • Beware of ice cube
